Kefir diet for 3 and 7 days, minus 10 kg. The result before and after the diet

In the last few years, the kefir diet has not left the first positions in the popularity ratings. Reviews of it are very, very positive. And this is completely understandable. You will not often come across a mono-diet, the main component of which can almost completely satisfy the body's need for essential nutrients. Indeed, look at the composition of kefir - it contains proteins and carbohydrates (and carbohydrates of animal origin - which are generally very rare) and saturated fats, which the body needs to absorb fat-soluble vitamins and form sex hormones.

Kefir diet results and after

At the same time, kefir is a fermented milk product, which means that lactose intolerance (milk sugar found in milk) will no longer be a problem. A kefir diet will allow you to improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract by introducing beneficial bacteria into the intestines (however, if you suffer from ulcers or other diseases of the digestive system, then such a diet is contraindicated for you).

But, of course, you should understand that the content of proteins, fats and carbohydrates is not the only condition for the diet to be effective and safe. As with any diet, it's important to take vitamins, because by cutting out certain foods, you're depriving yourself of the vitamins and minerals they contain.

How much weight can you lose in 3 days, a week, 10 days?

I fully understand that this is the most important question, because before we make a sacrifice, we all want to know what the benefit will be in the end. I will disappoint you, there are no concrete numbers, it all depends on what shape you are in at the moment. There are at least 2 options:

  1. If your height is 170 cm and your weight is 110 kg, then you have obviously gained 40-50 extra kilograms. In this case, on the kefir diet, you will easily lose 1-1. 5 kg per day, and you will lose 7 or even 10 kg per week.
  2. But if you are a sporty girl who is 170 cm tall and decided to lose weight to 55 kg from the current 65 kg, then be prepared to work longer.

In the first case, the weight will disappear quickly due to the loss of a large amount of fluid in the body due to the oxidation of visceral fat (this is the fat that covers the internal organs) and due to the simultaneous loss of muscles.

And in the second case, the body does not actually have excess fat. All that is there is a small subcutaneous, which is a strategic energy reserve for the body and which it will only have as a last resort. You should not hope to lose 10 kg per week on kefir. Maximum 3 kg. Because your body does not have excess fluid and if you play sports, then it will not give way to the muscles.

Kefir diet for 7 days and minus 10 kg?

Kefir diet for a week

A very popular question on the Internet. As I already explained, such a result is indeed possible, but it must be really big. I want to approach the question from a slightly different angle: which version of the kefir diet is the most popular and why you should never try it.

Today, the most common version of the kefir diet involves consuming one and a half liters of kefir per day. Also, depending on the duration of the diet, small portions of meat or vegetables can be added to the diet.

Let's find out how long we will need in a hospital bed after such a menu.

We will consider the question in terms of calorie content. I honestly don't believe in counting calories, but in this case it will.

If you have a sedentary job and don't move much, your body burns about 1000 kcal a day. It needs them to maintain brain function, to maintain the functioning of internal processes such as breathing, blood supply, digestion and sometimes lifting a spoon.

100 grams of kefir contains 50 kcal, which means that by drinking 1. 5 liters of kefir per day and not taking any food, you will get a maximum of 750 kcal per day. And you need at least 1000 kcal. On which organ will the body begin to conserve energy without supplying it? I don't want to check it.

Yes, if you want to try, of course, no one will stop you, but if you drink only kefir for more than three days in a row, then you will continue to lose weight in the hospital with a glucose drip.

Kefir diet with apples

That is why, if we talk about kefir diet, then we should not focus only on it.

Let's look at kefir diet options that include the use of other products

Kefir diet with apples

A popular combination. but pointless. Apples are fructose, which, roughly speaking, is the same as carbohydrates. Excess carbohydrates, as we know, are a direct way to fat gain. Consumption of apple with kefir does not give any cumulative effect. Apple appears here only because it is the most non-allergenic and year-round fruit. You can also write on a kefir diet with bananas, pears or mangoes. But we all know apple better. So they write about it time and time again, gradually making it a super healthy weight loss product. And vegetables are much more effective in this matter.

Kefir diet with buckwheat

Kefir diet with buckwheat

It's already warmer. Buckwheat is one of those carbohydrates that are called "long". They do not immediately provide all the energy to the body, but do so gradually, without a sudden increase in blood sugar levels. To be fair, it should be noted that not only buckwheat has a similar effect. And oatmeal and pearl barley and barley have the same properties. Therefore, you should not focus only on buckwheat, the more diverse the menu, the better.

Kefir diet with meat

But it's not very good. As we have already said, kefir is a product of animal origin. On a kefir diet, you're already getting a lot of animal protein and fat. There is no need to overload the liver and kidneys with the same thing. Moreover, the kefir diet can heal your pancreas (or rather, the body will heal it itself during the period of abstinence from fatty foods), and the addition of meat will cancel such pleasant side effects. Therefore, the diet should not be diluted with boiled or even fried meat. Maybe only fish. But very rarely. Not more than once a week.

Now that we have the theory, let's create our ideal menu based on kefir, which you can stick to long enough to get the expected effect and without harming yourself.

Kefir diet with meat

Kefir diet. Menu for the week

No, of course, you can stay on such a menu for 2 weeks, and some even for a month, but practice shows that the most noticeable results come in the first week. Then the effect decreases sharply.

Breakfast

This is the time when we can eat carbohydrates and not be harmed. That's why we eat porridge for breakfast. As we already found out, it can be anything. Buckwheat, barley, oatmeal. A piece of butter won't hurt at all. The main thing to remember is that porridge should be cooked from grains, not from an instant bag.

The drink will be water or unsweetened tea or coffee.

dinner

Kefir. A glass or two. To reduce the feeling of hunger.

Dinner

The basis of the kefir diet is dairy products

We eat vegetable salad for lunch. Ideally, it is made from cabbage or cucumbers and tomatoes. It is a vegetable that contains mainly fiber to maintain normal digestion and does not contain starch, which is a fast carbohydrate. You can also add greens to the salad: arugula, sorrel, etc. Sh. Greek salad would also be a very good choice. You can drink unsweetened tea or coffee.

all. This is where the turning point comes. After lunch, only kefir is on your menu. There is no need to limit yourself to a certain part of the input and time. I felt a headache and we drank a glass of kefir. And it doesn't matter how many cups you drink a day. It doesn't matter what time you drink. The main thing is not to feel hungry. This is a very important point. Don't let your body know you're on a diet, otherwise it will deliberately slow down your metabolism and the effectiveness of the diet will be drastically reduced.

It is very important to drink plain water. It is easy to miss this point on the kefir diet. So, schedule a time to drink water. Ideally, one glass upon waking, one before lunch and two before bed.

That's all. The way forward depends only on you. As long as you can withstand this, dare I say, meager menu, you can lose so much weight. On average it is 3-4 kg per week.

Remember one thing: there is no point in dieting if you start eating like before.

My advice is to slowly return to normal eating after the kefir diet. Leave the vegetables for lunch, but add meat broth. Remove kefir from dinner, but replace it not with carbohydrates, but with protein foods: meat, fish, eggs. By gradually switching to regular food, you can maintain the results and choose a diet that will be both tasty and healthy for you in the future.

P. S. There is no need to blindly copy what is offered as a universal recipe. Spend a few hours of your time, but create a menu that suits you. An individual approach always guarantees results!
